Fuel Storage & Handling Systems

Defence

Moore Management has 15 years of experience delivering excellence in design and construction management at defence department installations nationally.

Services

We have been part of the integration of many new standards and continue to build strong relationships with defence agencies.

We understand defence fuel facilities and acknowledge it is critical that from the inception, the design integrates user requirements and defence strategic requirements.

We know the importance of ensuring project outcomes and the function of the system adequately complies with the relevant standards, including:

  • Australian standards
  • Defence standards
  • Recognised Military standards (US MIL, NATO, UK Defence)
  • American Petroleum Institute (API) and IP standards
  • Commonwealth regulations, State/Territory statutory regulations

At Moore Management, we understand that all design documentation must incorporate any outcomes or requirements of parallel defence projects and agencies. Therefore, we are up to date with defence maintenance and operating standards such as the DEF (AUST) 5695 and the BFIMI.

Our aviation, petroleum, and mining industry experience can evolve with current industry standards and practices. But, more importantly, we provide an intrinsic understanding of industry supply and other contractual arrangements. This is especially important during a functional or parliamentary briefing to ensure that defence is aware of the commercial risks posed due to their reliance on civilian contracts and suppliers.

Past Projects

  • Hydrant upgrades at multiple RAFF bases
  • Refuelling upgrade at HMAS Cairns QLD
  • Floating suction at RAAF Wiliamtown NSW
  • Fuel farm and pumping system at RAAF bases
